Hey Colleen
I wanted to share something with you. There are some
big and exciting changes about to happen very
shortly and we are moving fast. Don't worry the
normal Traders Secret Library (TSL) newsletter will
be out soon, but I wanted to write this to you
personally.
You know our little club has been going almost 5
years now. It has been through many changes and will
go through many more as we evolve.
Thank you....
The one thing I wanted to say to all my members is
thank you. It may not seem like it, but there is
actually quite a team behind TSL. We have
moderators, Aman on support, Wesley helping out
wherever he is needed, Nerissa in accounts, Adrian
running the Surefire Trading Challenge and at least
3 or 4 other people who I bring in for special
projects.
It is only through your support that I can make this
happen and I never forget just how important that
is. Without you, there is no TSL.
You might have seen Ty's post in the forum about our
world tour. One idea I had was for Ty to spend a day
with our members in different parts of the world.
The first being Denver as that is the closest point
to where Ty lives. Later conferences will be in the
major cities. The whole idea is just to get
together. There is nothing to buy and there is no
charge from us, but I do want to tell you why I am
trying to arrange it.
Every month I make TSL better...
I know we have a bunch of people who just hit the
one year mark with us, and I also know that we have
people who are coming up for the 5 year mark. I hope
the reason is that you see value in what I put into
TSL.

Have you ever wondered why I have
never pitched a product to TSL members?

You don't need me to tell you the trading world has
been taken over with marketers. You also don't need
me to tell you that most of what's out there is
rubbish.
But, and this is an important but...I do everything
in my power to keep my members from it. There are
not many people who are privy to what I see. I am
contacted or I am in contact with some of the most
powerful people in Forex. I see it all, everything
from scams to just simply bad products.
You don't see them in TSL emails because there is
nothing better out there than TSL. If something
comes along, I will be the first to tell you but so
far, we haven't sent that email.
I deal with real people and real traders every day.
I deal with the EA experts, and the fund mangers and
the guy who just wants to make his first trade. This
is my life. I live and breath this stuff. I have 20+
traders on skype at any one time, some work for me,
some trade for me and some just trade with me.
Obviously I haven't seen every single website
related to trading, but I have seen more than anyone
else I know, or have heard of. I can tell you this
with all honesty, as far as I am concerned, there is
no better place that I am aware of that can even
come close to TSL for people who trade.
Let me tell you something you may not know. I spend
a large chunk of my time trying to figure out how I
can improve TSL. Every month I try and come up with
new ways to add value to the members area. Almost
every time I do that it takes time, energy and
money. Sometimes it can take months for an idea to
actually happen, but we still try and improve every
month.
This won't affect you!

In the next few months I will be increasing the
membership fee. It will not affect anyone who is
already a member. You will always be grandfathered
in at your original membership price. Only new or
returning members will pay the new price. The next
jump will be a real big one, so if you know anyone
who is thinking of becoming a member, tell them to
join now.
Here's the reason for the change...
When I compare what we give members with everything
around me, there is no comparison. I think you
probably know that, which is why you are a member,
but I'm really beginning to feel like we are an
oasis in the madness. People are coming up with
$2,000 courses based on an idea they had the night
before - trust me, I get bombarded with people
asking me to pitch their latest thing.
Basically, what I am trying to say is this. It's easy
to get carried away with the next best thing and
lose track of what's real. If you are serious about
trading, managing funds, teaching traders or
automated trading, then you are in the right place.
TSL was always, and always will be about traders and
not marketing. If there really is something out
there worth it's salt, I will put it into the
members area. Some people have been members so long
they forget just what's in TSL:
- We now have 4 new traders lined up and more in the
pipeline to teach their systems live once a week.
That doesn't count our resident expert Ty.
- We hold a trading competition every two months and
the winning systems are put into the members area.
There is no other place that holds a competition open
to any trader, in any market, trading any platform,
with demo or live accounts. What you see in TSL is
what is really happening in trading, not a glossy
version of reality. Good or bad, you see how other
traders do it. I can't tell you how valuable that is
or how it would have changed my trading to have
something like this in the early days.
- It's also important for traders to commune with
each other. There is something very special about a
group of people working together for a common goal.
The forum is a very special place where you can tap
into a huge knowledge base of other traders. It's
also a way of policing products and services that are
out there. It's like a grapevine of information.
- Automated trading is becoming an important section
of Forex, which is why we have two professional
programmers available to answer and help anyone who
is interested in EAs. We have also sponsored Colleen
to test the commercially available EAs out there so
our members don't get taken for a ride. This is
immeasurably important, not because of the cost of
an EA, but because of what you can save by not
investing in something that doesn't work.
Very Important - Andrea tells me he is very close to
releasing an EA with very good results just for our
members. More on that soon.
- We still have one of the biggest trading libraries
on the Internet. It doesn't matter if you are a
beginner or a seasoned trader, we have a report or
article on just about every trading topic. Remember
to use that part of the membership.
- We know that nothing is static, which is why we
encourage members to send videos of their trades and
ideas. We call this the video of the month (VOTM).
This is actually one of my favorite sections. It
doesn't matter to me if it is not professional or the
accent is bad. We are not actors, I am not
interested in how someone sounds. If people can
listen to me with my accent (I'm Scottish), then
anyone can make a video.
- We are also constantly working with members. You
may not know this but I sponsor quite a few traders
who have either won one of our competitions, or have
demonstrated that they can trade. We also sponsor EA
development and have been the launchpad for more
than one or two people who want to teach.
I'm going to stop here. TSL is one of those places
where there is so much happening that I could
talk all day about just how exciting it is. If I
could say just one thing it would be this - get
involved, have your say in the forum, contact our
support team, ask us to ring you, speak to us on
skype. There has never been a better place for
traders. Even if you just can't get going for some
reason, just keep reading and learning. We will
always be the cutting edge for traders.
